.tel - your online communications hub

About .tel

NetNames Platinum Service would like to introduce the new Top-Level Domain (TLD) called .tel which will revolutionise the way individuals and businesses connect with each other.

.tel is a domain name unlike any other that allows individuals and businesses to store and manage all their contact information and keywords directly in the DNS without the need to build, host or manage a website, and allows virtually real-time management of that information.

Your contact numbers are an important asset for your business, and .tel ensures the integration of all your communication solutions such as email, phone, fax, premium numbers, call centres, IVR, systems, vanity numbers and VoIP solutions, under a single brand-oriented solution.

You can also store, update and publish web links and keywords directly under your own .tel domain name, allowing you to take full control over how and where people reach you.

.tel reaches beyond its simple domain name functionality to incorporate added benefits such as click-to-dial, improved search capabilities, online voting, and address book synchronisation, to name a few, and is accessible from any device.

.tel is unique, as it uses a DNS technology to access web content, which enables faster downloads and navigation, directing web users to the exact location required.

Some of .tel’s benefits:

  • Integration of all means of communication (phone numbers, IM, VOIP, email, social media)
  • Real-time publishing of your contact information on the Internet without any third party involvement. This ensures your contact details are updated at all times
  • Full ownership of your published data
  • Protection of your private data - only viewable by people you authorise
  • Simple and structured navigation to easily reach the most relevant information
  • High speed global access optimised for mobile devices
  • Multi-language, search engine-friendly structured information and keywords
